Above are examples of monochrome and analogous color schemes.
The monochrome picture is a collection of handbooks on my shelves at work. A simple pattern of black and white repeats across the photo.
The analogous photo was taken near Middlebury College's Bread Loaf Campus. The colors range from yellow, to orange, and red.
I read the description of the first photo and I couldn't see the handbooks until I stared at it for a bit longer I thought it was the backing of a outdoor chair. Great photo though, very inventive!
ReplyDeleteIt must be hard to stand up straight at work. The bookshelf is dizzying. Great show though, it really is a good shot of a monochromatic scheme!
ReplyDeletenicole, I not only love the black and white, but your trees are wonderful. I love the colors of all the trees. I feel it really expresses that fall is approaching. Nicely done.

I like the photo of the trees. The orange just stands out. If you hadn't said anything about the books, we all would have been guessing.
ReplyDeleteI am also partial to the trees. Fall is my favorite season...it is so beautiful.
